Recently I finished this new, large and pleasant painting. It is about a beautiful area in Switzerland (Wallis), called Quatre Vallées. View point is Haute Nendaz.

My challenge was to express how I see this specific area and not to create a painting how it really looks. I wanted to create a painting that entertains and pleases the eye. And generates questions like “what's that?” So, I gave my “Switzerland” expressive colors and shapes. And bits of fantasy. In short, a painting with optimistic “wallpower”.
